Being environmental friendly...

...is financially rewarding.

How many of us really take a good look into our trash and sort those that we can recycle? Or is it easier to just lump it all out with our actual trash? When we buy stuffs, usually we throw away the cardboard packaging. Likewise, we dont give that much thought to the glass and plastic bottles that houses our drinks, sauces etc.

Once every two months, we try to send in the recyclables for recycling. And for the month of January, we actually get RM6.00 for our recylables. Not bad for something that some of us consider as trash. We'll update the total for Recycling Fund for 2012 over time.

Recycling Fund as at Jan 2012 stands at RM6.00
